Plant and animal cells puzzle

A matching activity for the KS3 cells topic, in which students match twenty-six clues with the correct keyword. It would be perfect as a revision activity at the end of a topic.

It could be run as a class game to see which team can complete the grid first.

Extend the activity by using the answer grid as a code, give students a statement e.g. 'Robert Hooke discovered cells' in code for students to decipher.
