Take 10: Mumbai, a global city

This visually appealing revision resource from our Take 10 collection asks the question 'Why is Mumbai an important global city and what are its issues?'

It was designed to support the Eduqas B GCSE geography specification but could also be useful for other exam boards. It uses dual coding and retrieval practice and gets students making connections between the facts represented by revision strips of images. The short animation, in MP4 format, demonstrates to students how to make these connections.

The resource also includes exam-style questions (with model answers), and a PowerPoint which can be used as a revision starter or plenary, and for peer assessment or self-assessment.
