Christopher Columbus – biography and comprehension

A non-fiction comprehension task based on a biography of Christopher Columbus. Both the text and accompanying questions are differentiated to two levels of ability. Children go on to complete a writing task from the point of view of an indigenous person, come up with arguments for a debate about Columbus day, and design a portrait of Columbus.
