A visual and colourful free resource by The Bell Foundation to develop vocabulary based on the story Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell.
Who was too jumpy? Who was too tall? Find out through a set of visual and colourful flashcards and substitution tables that can be used in different collaborative ways to introduce and access key vocabulary, including adjectives and time connectives, from the story Dear Zoo. The substitution table provides further opportunities to scaffold learners’ writing.
This resource is suitable for learners using EAL who are new to English as well as learners at early acquisition and those developing competence in English language proficiency.
