This set of six lesson plans is based on one of Roald Dahl's best-known books, Matilda

Each lesson has an English objective and a PSHE theme and features a lesson plan and accompanying worksheets and activity templates. PSHE themes include resilience, mindfulness and positive behaviours and English activities include persuasive writing and GPS (SPaG) tasks.

These Matilda teaching resources are based on specific chapters of this popular Roald Dahl story. Debate the rights and wrongs of Matilda’s actions towards her father, Mr Wormwood, explore resilience in the face of Matilda’s parents’ attitudes and consider the actions of Miss Trunchbull and Miss Honey. Perfect for your key stage 2 class on Roald Dahl Day!
