Today, we will write our own acrostic poem with the word REMEMBER all about honouring the sacrifice of the armed forces on Remembrance Day. First, write down some words linked to Remembrance Day and the armed forces that you could use that begin with each letter. An example for each has been given below.
Now, think of some simple sentences that begin with each word on the theme of Remembrance Day. Choose your favourite ones and add them to the writing template to create your own acrostic poem.
