The Tin Forest – exploring materials

A science investigation of everyday materials linked to the book The Tin Forest by Helen Ward. Children think about how the old man could make use of the things he finds in the forest. They fill in a table to show the suitability of the different materials he finds for particular uses, then answer questions.
