Atomic structure and periodic table revision mat
This popular GCSE periodic table revision mat or knowledge organiser is perfect for students studying the AQA Trilogy specification, or for GCSE Chemistry students.
It consists of questions and gapped information on atomic structure and the periodic table, including:
- the difference between elements, compounds and mixtures
- models of the atom
- the development of the periodic table from Mendeleev to the present day, and the organisation of the modern periodic table
- the reactivity series of metals according to their group number.
Give it out to students as an A3 sheet at the start of the topic. They can then fill in the relevant sections at the end of each lesson to give them a ready-made revision resource for Y11, or use it to recall learning for GCSE combined science revision.
