Chemical changes human bingo game
This fun game of 'human' bingo is suitable for year 10 or 11 revision or as a fun formative assessment check or recap of key ideas for the chemical changes topic for the GCSE AQA Trilogy Science specification or for GCSE Chemistry.
Students 'find someone who...' can answer one of the challenge questions on their grid worksheet, and they can trade answers with each other. The winner is first to correct fill in the grid.
They can then read out the answers so others can check / correct them.
The challenges also include a focus on maths skills.
It's great for collaborative learning and class revision.
Example challenges from the bingo grid:
Find someone who can tell you …
… why copper oxide is a base.
… if sodium sulfate is a salt or not (and why).
… why potassium is more reactive than magnesium.
… how you work out a mean in three steps.
