An ideal resource for KS5 students who are beginning to study the foundations of A-level English Language and want to consolidate their learning for Paper 1 or are revising for assessments and final exams.

Each task allows students to explore their understanding of some of the essential language levels, including lexis, semantics and grammar. Students are asked to explore examples of sentence types, such as declarative and interrogative, with other aspects of the linguistic frameworks.

Suitable for all exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR), this resource consolidates the knowledge required to fulfill assessment objectives for A-level English Language and helps learners transition from GCSE study to A-level standards.

As well as supporting exam preparation, this resource also helps prepare students for non-exam assessment, language investigations and original writing modules.

This resource contains a variety of activities focused on different elements of basic English Language grammar and syntax to support students growing knowledge with the technical aspects of the subject.

Some activities contain bronze, silver and gold medal style questions to enable students to access the learning at a level that is comfortable, which should help build confidence.

Useful during the first few months of A-level study or would be equally as helpful as a revision resource to support clearer recall before assessments or examinations.
