This comprehension resource contains two extracts from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. There are a range of questions based on the two extracts and the resource contains full answer sheets for both sets of questions.

Suitable for year 6-7 transition or for KS3 comprehension and textual activity lessons, the extracts enable students to analyse language use and its effects, while considering the impact of literary techniques and characterisation.

Ideal for assessing textual understanding and authorial motivation in timed conditions, or alternatively as pair or group activities to support continued learning around plot, character and theme development.
