My greatest hits
This activity offers a twist on the traditional autobiography. Students compile their 'greatest hits' as a CD, featuring images and song titles which represent their life in some way.
The worksheet includes a step-by-step approach. Students:
- make a list of ten important aspects of their life
- convert these into song titles
- design a CD cover which reflects their personality and life
- prepare a presentation for the class.
The activity would also work well as an ice-breaker or transition project.

I work in China with ESL children. I wanted something that was engaging and developed their language. I gave them this resource and they had a few days in between to design. It was amazing what they presented. Some drew, designed using the computer and one sang and recorded and then presented. The students enjoying presenting a CD about themselves.

A promising resource - works well with BTEC students with access to software packages. Good fun. Students could produce the CD cover and then the rest of the class could guess who they are from the CD cover
