Shopping list poems
This classroom worksheet provides a simple but effective idea for poetry writing with younger students or reluctant writers.
By adding adjectives to items (nouns) in their shopping basket, and using a writing frame to help, students will quickly write their own poem and understand how adjectives can help to add interest to their writing.
