A fun board game for students to practise their spelling, punctuation and grammar skills, with a few creative opportunities along the way.

One player acts as the quizmaster and needs a dictionary and thesaurus to hand, as well as a tally sheet. You'll need a dice to play.

Students race around the board scoring points by answering questions about spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, grammar and figurative language – as well as giving their best plot idea for a bestselling title!

This is very easily adapted to any topic. I create a few crib sheets for "the game's master" to ensure they practise what needs to be pra ctised. it works beautifully.

This resource is listed as a 'Free PDF download', and should therefore be accessible to site user who are registered for the free subscription. However, the file does not download and a message is given that I need to pay for an upgrade to 'Teachit Plus' to gain the resource. This is somewhat disingenuous. I have only registered on the site to try to find support materials for my son who is dyslexic.

Great that it's very broad and doesn't have specific questions, therefore it can be used for different levels and can be used again and again without students memorising questions and answers.
