Take 10: Felixstowe
This revision resource from our Take 10 collection asks the question 'Has recent investment ensured a sustainable future for Felixstowe?' and helps students to answer exam-style questions about development and economic viability.
The PowerPoint includes colour photos which can be used as a lesson starter or plenary. It presents key facts about the case study, represented by black and white icons. These icons are included in the Word document as revision strips for students to cut out and annotate. A second revision strip can then be used to test their recall.
The resource then demonstrates to students how to make connections between the facts to form a chain of knowledge that can be used for writing answers in exams.
The exam practice questions were written for the Eduqas B GCSE geography specification, but the bulk of the resource could be relevant to all exam boards.
