Practical maths: tangrams

This KS3 resource can be used to get students thinking about the maths involved in everyday home-life activities. The first part of the task is active: make a 7-piece Tangram. The second part is to think: what maths is involved in this activity? The third part is to then ponder a range of questions on various topics, graded in difficulty.
