Hot deserts
A resource focusing on the characteristics of hot deserts. In small groups students complete an information gathering market place activity to help them identify the main characteristics of hot desert environments. They will also begin to recognise how plants and animals evolve to adapt to the harsh conditions of deserts. There are two exam-style questions with mark schemes provided.
