Fractions of quantities code breaker
A KS3 maths code breaker activity on fractions of quantities.
Fourteen quantities are given, each with four fractions that they have to find. Each group of 4 fractions have the same denominator, giving some variation practice of mental or written fraction calculations to the activity. Includes a small number of improper fractions.
Students use their answers to break the code and find the punchline to the joke.
