Graphical solutions of simultaneous equations

A worksheet for KS4, or upper KS3 on solving simultaneous equations graphically.

Students begin by solving simultaneous linear equations of the form ax^2 + bx + c  graphically. After a quadratic equations recap, they move onto solving graphically when one equation is quadratic and one linear.

An extension task is included, with a quartic graph and y = 0. A table of values to fill in is provided to allow students to plot this, although graphing software could also be used.
