Inequalities on number lines
A great whole-class activity to introduce the use of number lines to represent inequalities.
There are 20 number lines requiring algebraic expressions to describe the region shown on the line, starting with one inequality symbol and moving on to two.
This activity would work really well with mini whiteboards to assess understanding.
