Simplifying algebraic fractions loop cards

A KS4 loop card game to consolidate understanding of simplifying algebraic fractions. There are 10 cards on a worksheet for students to cut out. The activity allows students to practice the skill of factorising simple expressions by taking out a common factor and then cancelling to simplify algebraic fractions.

This activity could be used in pairs or as a whole class.

Extension questions are provided which require quadratic factorisation.
