Single brackets treasure hunt
Expand single brackets with this round-the-class percentages treasure hunt. The resulting expressions contain mostly positive terms and no powers of x. Each card has a question, an answer and a letter. Students need to multiply out the brackets, find the card with the correct expression and collect the letters on the answer sheet to form a phrase.
The cards could also be used in pairs or small groups as loop cards. More ideas are included in the teaching notes.
