Speed maths – subtraction within 20

Two worksheets for practising mental subtraction within 20. The sheets can be used as a starter, where children try to complete one column a day in a given time, or as an assessment activity. The first sheet features 12 questions in each of the three columns and the second sheet features 20 questions in each column. Excellent mental maths practice for year 1 or older children with SEND.
