Economic inequality in the UK

This resource looks at the north-south divide in the UK. Students complete a statistical skills task to help them analyse unemployment patterns in the UK. This is followed by a web enquiry identifying the different ways to reduce economic inequality in the UK. Students research one of three strategies used to reduce these inequalities: enterprise zones, HS2 rail link and LEPs.
Included within the resource are web enquiry help sheets, a link to a relevant video resource and teaching notes with guidance.
