How can industry become more sustainable?

This resource focuses on the impacts of industry on the physical environment and how is can become more environmentally sustainable. Students begin by annotationg an image to show how quarrying can impact the surrounding area environmentally, socially and economically. They then use Torr quarry as an example of how quarries can be managed sustainably. An exam-style question is included to assess student undertand and knowledge of this example.
