School microclimate study
A resource to help KS3 students understand microclimates by completing an investigation around their school. Students use their geographical skills to collect basic weather data from a variety of sites around their school to understand if different features can alter the weather experienced. Once they have collected the data they present their findings using a proportional symbols map and a bar graph. A peer or teacher assessment sheet is included if required.
