Understanding population pyramids
An activity to develop understanding of population pyramids. Students work in pairs to compare and contrast a LIC and a HIC population pyramid. They are encouraged to describe and explain their pyramids using the PEE stucture and are guided through an exmaple of how to achieve this. This resource also includes a homework activity to consolidate their knowledge.

this is perfect for my able year 9 group as we are having to set all work electronically at this time - particularly like the PEE section of the powerpoint as this will help their understanding leading into GCSE learning
