Using speech marks

This resource asks children to rewrite a conversation using the correct punctuation for direct speech. Children have to turn the conversation, represented by text in speech bubbles and a paragraph of un-punctuated text, into prose and then add speech marks. This is a great punctuation challenge for children to use their knowledge of inverted commas.
